Our 100% Cotton Sleeping Bags - VS Synthetic Sleeping Bags
- Breathability: Cotton is naturally breathable and comfortable against the skin. Similar with cotton/flannel lining clothing. (You don’t tend to wear synthetic clothing)
- Durability: Cotton is extremely tough, rugged, and resistant to sparks, campfire embers, and rough handling.
- Comfort: Canvas/ cotton softens over time giving a more natural feel like your favourite t-shirt. - Synthetic can trap moisture and feel sweaty, slick or clammy during the night.
- Noise: Our cotton sleeping bags don’t make a rustling noise like synthetic materials. A quieter material means you (and everyone around you) has a better nights sleep.
Best uses: Truck camping, overlanding, base camps, horse packing, or roof-top tents (RTT) where weight and packed size do not matter as much.
These are 100% canvas sleeping bags: We wouldn’t recommend these sleeping bags for hiking or walking expeditions due to their weight. - Thats when lightweight synthetic materials come in handy due to their small size. - However, if you’re after something more durable, more premium, more comfortable… Without the annoying synthetic scratchy noises and rustling though the night - then our 100% Cotton Canvas Sleeping Bags are ideal for you.
