Airbags are a popular and useful upgrade for vehicles which carry widely varying loads. When your 4WD or pickup is used for towing trailers, caravans, horse boxes, or when carrying heavy loads for trade or leisure purposes, the rear suspension cannot always cope well. From the visual problem of the vehicle sitting too low at the rear to the functional and safety issues this causes such as light and vague steering, a durable solution is needed.

The Toyota Hilux is built for work.. But its rear suspension is calibrated for an unladen vehicle; not a loaded one. Under payload, the rear squats, handling can suffer, as can towing stability. This is the aftermarket suspension upgrade.
A rear air bag/ semi-air suspension kit supplied by Apex4WD for the Toyota Hilux platform, covering 2005 to 2026 model years. The kit works alongside the Hilux's existing rear suspension rather than replacing it.
This sale is for the air bag kit only. Separate parts may be required such as an air compressor and gauges. - We can sell this as a whole kit if needed, just drop us a message as there are a few different options for compressors and gauge setups depending on your requirements.
