A Land Cruiser 80 series 45mm Suspension Lift Kit by Pedders, fits models listed.
Ideal for customers that want to lift the vehicle whilst maintaining a more standard ride. The kit will be firmer than original as the coils are not only new but also uprated to help prevent body roll with the lift. (Specs are provided).
Recommended for models with standard front bumper setup.

Whilst improving the vehicle's looks and handling, Apex4WD Pedders lift kit helps to prevent body roll in bends. Ideal for occasional towing, off-road & on-road use whilst giving greater ground clearance allowing fitment of larger tyres.
Coil springs are uprated along with Pedders Heavy-duty twin tube design Gas shock absorbers all manufactured for Pedders where they have been tried and tested in the outback terrain!
The larger piston shocks within this Pedders kit means it tends to give a slightly firmer ride whilst performance tends to be more responsive in our opinion.
We also offer a Heavy Duty kit for customers that requiring a more loaded capacity.
- As with all suspension shocks/coils supplied, paint is not covered under warranty due to the very nature and position of the component.
Fitting Tip - Only torque suspension bushes when the weight is back down on the vehicle - NOT when the suspension is hanging down.
Always ensure your front wheel alignment and geometry is checked after installation.
Please note:
When you lift the Land Cruiser 80 series you should also fit caster correction bushes to re-align the axle to within OE tolerance - Pedders Rubber Bush Kit 5802 (Set of 4) is included in this sale. This increases the castor angle by approx 2 degrees to correct the steering/ axle angle after fitting the lift kit.
The Shock Tech:
The Pedders Trak-Ryder 9100 Series shock absorbers have a huge 16mm sintered hardened piston, 35mm internal bore and 54mm external bore this shock is perfect for both general purpose road and off-road use. It uses nitrogen gas pressure to enable consistent and precise ride control without compromising on ride comfort.
They feature a bearing slip ring that is said to eliminate oil bypass between the shaft and the pilot bearing. There is also an anti-bleed-back upper seal, to maintain the correct level of oil in the pressure tube at all times.
The advantage of a twin tube design like the Pedders Trak-Ryder, especially in off-road conditions is that if any large stones are flicked up off the road and come into contact with the body of the shock absorber and dent it, it will not affect the operation of the shock absorber.
