Quality self adhesive backing 2mm sound deadening. Front side is an aluminium protective layer with the main material made from high quality dense butyl rubber. The back side is a super strong self adhesive, no need to glue or staple in to place, simply peel off the backing and stick to your surface.
Great for use on vehicle doors, floors, roofs, trunks and more.
Also used for sound dampening projects such as recording studios, home office and garages.
Our sound absorbing sheets are great at reducing surrounding shocks and sounds.
How To Use:
- Use scissors or a sharp knife to cut the sheet to the desired size and shape before removing the adhesive backing.
- Remove dust, grease, moisture and any other contaminant from the surface.
- Peel off the adhesive backing paper from the sheet and press the sound deadening sheet on to the surface.
- Apply pressure around the whole sheet to ensure maximum adhesion.
- You can also use a pressure roller to reduce the amount of air bubble pockets.
- The sound deadening sheets should not be fitted during freezing temperatures.
- Heating the sheet/ surface is not required.
